2. FEATURED PATIENT JOURNEYS

Progressing Towards Independent Walking After Bilateral Hip Replacement

After bilateral hip replacement, walking and everyday mobility required support. This journey shows the progression towards more independent walking as rehabilitation developed under the guidance of Dr. Anshika Mitra (PT).

From Walker Support to More Independent Walking

Following bilateral knee replacement, standing up, walking and moving without support were important functional goals. The journey shows progression from assisted movement and walker-supported mobility towards greater independence.

Rebuilding Shoulder Movement After Rotator Cuff Repair

Shoulder movement was markedly restricted following rotator cuff repair. As rehabilitation progressed, the patient gradually regained movement and became more comfortable reaching overhead.

Does One of These Journeys Feel Familiar?

Your situation does not need to be identical to someone else's.

If surgery, pain or reduced mobility is making everyday movement difficult, tell us briefly what you are dealing with. We can help you understand whether physiotherapy assessment may be appropriate.

Different Journeys. One Closely Monitored Process.

The condition may be different. The starting point may be different. The goals may be different.

What remains important is understanding the person in front of us, planning rehabilitation around their needs and continuing to adjust the programme as movement and function change.

Assess → Plan → Monitor → Adapt → Progress

Build rehabilitation around the individual's presentation and goals.

More Rehabilitation Journeys

Different problems can affect very different parts of everyday life — reaching, walking, climbing stairs, using an arm comfortably or returning to activity.

The following journeys show some of those different starting points and functional goals.

Rebuilding Movement & Everyday Arm Function

Following elbow surgery, stiffness and restricted movement made comfortable use of the arm more difficult.

This journey shows improving mobility and a gradual return towards functional arm movement during rehabilitation.

8. FINAL CONVERSION SECTION

Your Situation Doesn't Need to Match Someone Else's Story.

If pain, surgery, injury or reduced mobility is affecting the things you need or want to do, an individual assessment can help clarify what may be contributing and what an appropriate next step could look like.
